ABOUT
Nicole Anne Weldy was born in Livingston, New Jersey, and raised in Fishers, Indiana. She was the first Fine Art BFA graduate from Samford University. Her senior thesis project, Unity Ball, received sponsorship from the Duct Tape Company. Nicole received her MFA in Visual Arts, concentrating in sculpture, from Clemson University. Her thesis project, Material World, was honored as a finalist in the Three-Minute Thesis Competition. Nicole has served as the Education Coordinator at the Middletown Art Center (MAC) in Middletown, Ohio and is a founding member of (Re)shape Gallery. She has exhibited work in various states, including Indiana, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Her work has been featured in Bold Journey Magazine. Currently she teaches Art I, Art III, Art IV, AP 2D Design, Fashion Illustration, and Art Exploration at Stephen T. Badin High School, a private Catholic High School located in Hamilton, Ohio.
