ABOUT US

(Re)shape is an artist-run curatorial team focused on curating artwork and presenting exhibitions beyond traditional physical spaces. The (Re)shape founders, Nicole Anne Weldy @nicole_anne_weldy_art and Emily Collins @emilyy__collins, connected during their MFA program. The duo is reshaping their concepts into the digital landscape, adapting to the reality of being separated by numerous states rather than working in close proximity to one another.

Nicole and Emily believe in the power of sharing ideas across different platforms. By embracing innovative approaches to gallery and curatorial representation, our artist-run space aims to broaden its reach and foster connections with art enthusiasts and creators both locally and globally.

Artist, Designer, & Curator

Nicole Anne Weldy, recently moved to the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio. Throughout her practice, she has delved into a diverse range of art techniques, embracing her identity as an artist and a student of life.

After earning her MFA from Clemson University in December 2023 and a BFA from Samford University in 2021, Nicole has cultivated a fruitful practice in her home studio, establishing herself as an emerging artist in the Greater Cincinnati Area, where she serves as an Art Teacher at Badin High School in Hamilton, Ohio.

Her past experiences and educational pursuits have significantly influenced her artistic practice and strengthened her commitment to disseminating the knowledge she has gained as an artist and educator. @reshape.gallery embodies the culmination of her curatorial interests and provides a valuable platform for engaging with like-minded artists who are equally eager to express their artistic vision.

Artist & Curator

Emily Collins, @emilyy__collins, recently moved to the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. She has immersed herself in a variety of artistic mediums and disciplines over the years, including drawing, photography, and sculpture.

After earning her BFA from Winthrop University in Spring 2021 and her MFA from Clemson University in Fall 2023, Emily continued her love of education and studio practice as an instructor at the Clemson Arts Center, teaching jewelry metal casting classes and participating in jewelry-making workshops. More recently, she has found her place in the Fine Arts Studios at SCAD Atlanta as a Shop Technician.

Alongside her own creative practice, she is passionate about fostering a supportive arts community. Working closely with students at SCAD, she helps them navigate materials and techniques while immersing herself in a collaborative creative environment. Curating this online gallery is another way she shares her passion—providing a platform for artists to showcase their work.
